Computer Science is the study of computers and computational systems. Unlike electrical and computer engineers, computer scientists deal mostly with software and software systems; this includes their theory, design, development, and application.

Understanding the science behind computing, or computer science, can tell us about our past and our future. From abacuses and calculators to mainframes, laptops, and smart phones, smart homes computing has transformed our physical world and made our lives easier in many ways.

Some inquisitive students will know how to use technology tools (such as texting, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat etc.) better than their teachers. But to really understand computing, including the science behind it and the ways to manipulate it, students need to take classes related to computer science taught by certified professional teachers who can express themselves well and who have worked in the education field for years.

Academic and Professional Computing Center is dedicated to assist High School Students of Local and International Board in understanding Computer Science subject in details.

In addition to explaining the fundamentals of computing, teachers at the center will be showing their students the merits of analytical skills, problem-solving skills, collaboration, creativity, critical-thinking skills and resilience.

The center is an ideal place for Grade 9 to Grade 12 students learning Computer Science as well as for Under-Graduate students from foreign universities doing major or minor in Computer Science.
